Overview

​

Our client is a deliverable Foreign Exchange company with clients spread around the globe. As the Chinese market is growing consistently, our client is looking for new candidates to join their ever growing team. This position involves liaising with clients on a daily basis, offering a high level of customer service and assisting them with their trading requirements. The role will include sourcing new clients and being familiar with the services the company offers, current regulations and legislations. 

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, in addition to greatly developed customer service and organisational skills. Candidates should have a vast knowledge of foreign exchange markets and financial products/services, although this is beneficial, it is not required. Candidates should be open and ready to learn about these topics, as this will be a large part of the role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Have an extended knowledge of the company and products/services offered in order to successfully promote the organisation.

  • Support the Head of Desk and Senior Managers as required.

  • Attention to detail to provide the account manager with details of the clients trading requirements.

  • Obtain necessary documents to be entirely complaint with HM Revenue, Customs and Money Laundering Regulations.

  • Maintain database report logs up-to-date with details of Client calls, issues and progress made.

  • Provide feedback of client dissatisfaction issues or risk control, to senior managers in order to solve problems.

  • Search and provide ideas for improvement of the business, operations and productivity.

  • Alert management immediately of any significant changes to business risks, internal controls effectiveness or any regulatory breach.

  • Comply with all department and health/safety policies/procedures.

 

 

Ideal Candidate

​

  • Excellent written/verbal English and Chinese.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise.

  • Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.

  • Familiar with Microsoft office

  • Knowledge of foreign exchange markets and products (open to learn).

  • Candidate should be flexible to occasionally work ‘’Chinese hours’’ and also to travel to China in order to attend client meetings, exhibitions and events.
