Salary package: £20,000 to £24,000 DOE (depends on experience)
Overview
Our client is a fast growing international trading company based in Chertsey. Having
customers in over 21 countries, they are one of the largest wood flooring distributers.
They are expanding exponentially and are in need of new and ambitious team
members to help lead the organisation to greater success.
Our client is seeking a multitasking and proactive Bookkeeper for this role. The
candidate should have excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English,
in addition to being a detail oriented individual. The candidate will have high accuracy
and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • General bookkeeping duties.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are followed.
  • Purchase ledger.
  • Reconciling of accounts.
  • Credit Control.
  • Chasing invoices/debts.
  • Filing VAT returns.
  • General finance duties as needed.
  • Providing support where required.
Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Extra language skills will be beneficial, but not required- Mandarin or Cantonese

  • Flexibility and independence to work individually or in a team.

  • High level of computer literacy and Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Ability to prioritise and work with deadlines

  • Front office and bookkeeping experience

  • Should have excellent telephone skills

  • Planning and organisational skills.

  • Time management skills.
