Salary package: up to £25,000 DOE (depends on experience)

Our client is a book publisher and independent producer of animated television content for children. Their performance history includes providing creative solutions to some of the UK’s most respected companies. An award winning creative group who aim to become leading and internationally renowned creators of children’s content.

 

We are seeking a passionate individual who will be flexible and have a proactive attitude in achieving results. They should have a high level of attention to detail, organisation and multitasking skills. Accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines is also a priority. Furthermore, the candidate should also be comfortable in assisting with front of house duties such as communicating and welcoming visitors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • General bookkeeping duties.

  • Ensure standards and requirements are followed.

  • Purchase ledger

  • Reconciling of accounts

  • Credit Control

  • Chasing invoices/debts

  • Filing VAT returns

  • Front of house duties such as answering calls/emails and meeting/greeting visitors.

  • General finance duties as needed

  • Providing support where required.

 

 

Ideal Candidate

 

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Extra language skills will be beneficial, but not required- Mandarin or Cantonese

  • Flexibility and independence to work individually or in a team.

  • High level of computer literacy and Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Ability to prioritise and work with deadlines

  • Front office and bookkeeping experience

  • Should have excellent telephone skills

  • Planning and organisational skills.

  • Time management skills.
