Our client is a fast-expanding business in the communication industry. They are seeking a success-driven Events Sales Advisor join their team in London to drive the company’s sales growth by top, award winning events. The successful candidate should have a proven record of success in new business consulting, ‘can-do’ attitude and great communication skills. An additional language would be an asset, but it is not required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing accounts, keeping in touch on a daily basis.

  • Ensure delivery of sales targets by maintaining an ever-ambitious and extensive sales plan. 

  • Deliver an annual growth of portfolio by expanding clients network, including own initiative in new businesses acquisition.

  • Keep-up to date with event numbers and status, delivering weekly reports of trade development to respective line manager and crucial stakeholders.

  • Drive brand profile and become a champion of your portfolio both internally and externally.

  • Maintain yourself familiar with competitors’ activity and performance, and knowledge of market trends in the sector to secure portfolio’s growth.

  • Lead and become an inspiration for the team on performance standards regarding KPI’s, conduct and performance.

Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable success in new business consulting.

  • Sales experience in Events industry is highly beneficial

  • Experience with a structured sales training method, e.g. DIPIDA, preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience using CRM preferred.

  • Proficient MS Office user.

  • Target-oriented, highly motivated and innovative with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

  • Strong professional manner and sales skills.
