Our client is a well-established tour operator based in London. The reputable tour provider has an exciting business history spanning over 30 years. Our client’s aim is to provide an unforgettable tour experience by delivering passionate service and creating the best customer experience. Every aspect of the journey is planned, starting from the travel consultation to the local representatives and until the end of the tour. They travel to a wide range of locations including: China, Thailand, Ski Lanka, Dubai, South Africa and Brazil.
We are seeking a highly organised and committed candidate that is passionate about travel and delivering first class customer service. The candidate must be excellent at building and maintaining client relations; striving for the highest standard of service and personal care to create highly satisfied customers. The applicant must also be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently. The candidate must be fluent in Mandarin and have a high level of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Deliver excellent customer service and handle all client enquiries.

Compose and quote complex travel itineraries, this includes detailing of the whole trip.

Create airline and hotel reservations

Process Visas for various countries
-
Handle complaints professionally and effectively.

Build and maintain client relationships
-
Help clients plan and organise their journey, from beginning to end.

Listen and understand client requirements (to offer accurate information on services available/provided).

Maintain and keep up to date client records
-
Research destinations the company travels to and stay update to date with tourism trends.
Ideal Candidate

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Fluent in Mandarin and English

Passionate about travel

Experience of working in the travel industry is desirable but not essential
-
Knowledge of Far East, Middle East and Latin American is advantageous.

Good IT skills
-
Galileo experience (preferable)

Highly motivated and committed to the development of the business.

The ability to work in a fast paced and pressured environment.

Strong administrative and organisational skills
-
An excellent telephone manner
-
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
