Salary package: £25,000 to £35,000 DOE (depending on experience)





Our client is an international company founded in Germany. Specialising in accommodation in foreign destinations, they form the bridge between clients and the providers. They offer a range of property related services including: renting, refurbishing, purchasing and selling of real estate. This is usually directed to international students in search of a term time home. The client uses a platform where customers can view, choose and apply for their accommodation using a personalised service of their own language. In addition, they also arrange a payment service which assists with the transfer of different currencies, which facilitates the process.  

We are seeking an experienced and multifunctional candidate for the role of a Social Media and Marketing Manager. The candidate will be required to have a good level of English and Mandarin, both oral and written. The ideal candidate will have experience in the UK and the Chinese market (desirable, not essential), in addition to having a passion for marketing. The successful candidate should be proactive, responsible and reliable as they will be accountable for leading a team and the company’s marketing strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Managing activities and projects from the marketing department.

  • Developing the marketing strategy of the company.

  • Setting objectives and delegating tasks in order to reach organisational goals

  • Planning and implementing marketing campaigns.

  • Responsible for the UK and China social media accounts.

  • Monitoring the team and CRM management in order to achieve high levels of motivation and satisfaction.

  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

  • Assist in the advertising and event management.

  • Defining goals while maintaining the budget set.

  • Monitor the progress of on-going projects.



Ideal Candidate 


  • Confident in decision making and solving problems to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with contact at all levels.

  • Have strong attention to detail and have great organisational/planning skills.

  • Have experience in UK and China markets (desirable, not essential).

  • Good level of IT skills and overall knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Should have a passion for the marketing and property industry.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing or management position.

  • Be outgoing, approachable and have good customer service skills.
