Salary package: £30,000- £35,000 DOE (depends on experience)

Our client is a wholesaler which provides trading services in premium spirits and wine internationally. Founded in 2002 and based in Canary Wharf, they are currently expanding their Asia sales team. The client supply’s and delivers the required products using the best logistics services created. They offer competitive prices, individual logistics solutions and focus on meeting customer demands and standards. 

 

We are seeking a Wholesales Manager with excellent Mandarin and English language skills. The applicant should have leadership and management skills, in addition to working within a fast paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for the mainland Chinese market and should have experience in sales of FMCG goods and/or export of goods from UK/Asia.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the sales process of products to the network of clients in Asia.  

  • Monitor and supervise procurement and after-sales developments.

  • Prospect for new business all around the region.

  • Attend meetings with stakeholders.

  • Improvement and development ideas in order to increase sales.

  • Use sales data to manage, develop and serve accounts.

  • Develop growth strategies.

  • Work as a team with other departments.

 

 

Ideal Candidate

​

  • English and Mandarin speaker (required).

  • 2 years’ experience wholesale sales.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.

  • Responsible and reliable individual.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

  • Good knowledge of goods trading and the FMCG industry (beneficial).

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to travel to other countries.
