Salary package: £30,000 DOE (depending on experience) + 30k OTE (based on partnerships, marketing and sales KPI's)

Overview

Our client is a digital advertising company that acts as the bridge between China and Western brands. This includes the launch and promotion through digital channels of brands into the respective foreign market. These objectives are accomplished by using gained insights in order to create respective strategies; these are then executed into the designated channels from both areas. Chinese digital channels include Web, WeChat, Weibo and others; which are used to launch and maintain relationships with western brands in China. Furthermore, the company mainly uses western channels as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to create relationships and promote Chinese brands to the Western market.

 

We are seeking a Partnerships and Marketing Manager that will guide the company to success. The ideal candidate should have a proactive attitude and fantastic management skills. In addition, experience in partnerships and/or client services are required, specifically in a Chinese environment. The candidate should be familiar in building business relationships and have a network of relationships with Chinese communities/businesses in the UK. A high level of communication skills in both English/Mandarin is a must.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Main objective is to make the company known worldwide.

  • Increase brand awareness among the existing Chinese companies in the UK.

  • Identify, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers of Chinese companies.

  • Introduce and promote our organisation and services to the Chinese companies.

  • Our priority is to develop connections with: Existing clients; Chinese professional associations; Chinese digital platforms (online and offline media partners); Government and public sector organisations from China; Chinese sales and marketing networks;

  • The candidate will also be required to manage the online presence of the company,

  • Evaluate and increase social media presence and performance.

  • Lead and support organisational events.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

  • Fluency in Cantonese and/or Hakka (desirable, but not required).

  • More than 3 years’ experience in partnerships and/or client services roles within a Chinese environment.

  • Management experience

  • Experience in building relationships with Chinese clients.

  • Have a network of existing relationships with Chinese communities in the UK.

  • Familiar with marketing and PR knowledge.

  • A high level presentation and client interaction skills.
