Salary range: £33,000 to £36,000 DOE (depending on experience) + annual bonus

Our client is an electronics manufacturer and global provider technology products. We are seeking a focused and self-motivated candidate with excellent communication and relationship building skills for a Business Development position. Furthermore, they should have a good understanding of business development, within the consumer/SMB networking space, in order to be able to deliver the growth targets regarding B2B.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Create new businesses within the B2B space.

  • Use of current/future customer relationships and channel contacts in order to drive new business (channels include VAD, VAR, Network installers, etc.)

  • Report progress of account management and business development opportunities to management team.

  • Improve current account base by further developing SMB range of computer networking products.

  • Use company’s unmanaged database and other individual ideas, in order to find new business opportunities.

  • Utilise distribution relationships in order to identify potential new B2B opportunities and resellers (distributors include Tech Data, Spire, CMS, Exertis, etc.)

  • Further develop current company programs, in order to increase distribution sales, clients and VAR customers, through having own initiative and creativity.

  • Assist in other departments/areas of business when and if required.


 

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be/have:

​

  • Senior experience in IT and/or computer network sales.

  • Excellent communication, relationship building and business development skills.

  • Adaptable and have the ability to multitask.

  • Experience in account management and business development in the B2B space.

  • Excellent time management, customer facing and organisational skills.

  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment, individually or in a team.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (essential)

  • Necessary to have a Full UK driving license. Candidate will be required to travel across the UK in order to meet with client depending on office locations.
