Overview

​

Our client is an animation studio based near Chester. It is quite a new studio; however they already have a large portfolio of projects in development, especially children’s TV shows and films. They are seeking a junior animator to work on the projects and grow professionally within the company. The ideal candidate must be a creative self-starter with one or two years of experience within the CG industry.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Create very high quality animation.

  • Meet deadlines and ensure production targets are met.

  • Work closely with other departments to fully understand all aspects of the show/film and make sure it is of the highest standard.

  • Other ad hoc duties required by management.

 

​

Ideal Candidate

​

  • Strong knowledge in animation principles and camera set up.

  • One or two years of experience in the industry.

  • Great time management and organizational skills.

  • A self-starter that can work well in an organized team and with other departments.

  • Knowledge of rigging software such as Maya and Houdini.

  • Experience using production tracking software.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Great communication skills

  • Fluency in Mandarin is desirable but not required.

  • Very passionate about animation.

  • Must have great attention to detail and quality.
